Documentation principles
- Describe the finished product. Guides and the product map state how Ascendly works now.
- Rewrite on change. When behavior changes, update the guide in place. Do not append dated changelog or milestone entries on this site.
- Roadmap is future-only. Shipped work leaves the roadmap and appears in guides as current capability.
- Engineering history stays in the repo. Use
design-log/for design decisions and chronology — not the public docs site.
